Gov. Scott Walker proposes eliminating the forestry mill tax, a state-based property tax that costs the average homeowner about $27. Established in 1924, the tax currently raises $80 million a year to fund forest management, preservation and fighting fires. To hear both sides of the issue, we speak with Fred Clark of the Forest Stewards Guild and Tom Larson of the Wisconsin Realtors Association.
