The Bautista Family brings four generations of weaving tradition to Oregon.
When Laura and Francisco Bautista moved from Mexico to Sandy, Oregon they brought with them four generations of weaving tradition. Many of the designs have been in their culture for centuries. Now their daughter Cinthya and son David are also on their way to becoming master weavers. “Watching my two kids weaving now,” Francisco says, “I have no words to describe how happy I feel.”
